The price includes use of the van during the reserved dates, any additional services you purchase, 300 km per day and third-party insurance with an excess of €1,200; you can also opt for insurance with a €400 reduction for an additional €35 per day.

You will need your driving licence and a valid Spanish ID card or passport. You must also book a storage unit for a minimum of 3 months or be an existing customer with a current contract. We do not rent out vans to people who are not resident in Spain and do not hold a Spanish ID card or tax identification number.

If you are renting as a business, you must also provide tax details: the company’s tax registration number (CIF), articles of association, and the ID card of the director or authorised representative, together with the power of attorney documents.

Yes, you can rent it and leave it at another office within the province of Málaga for an extra cost of €40, and at another Rodando office in another province for €140.

Pickup and return must be done during office hours. If you require a different time, you must inform us when signing the contract so that we can arrange access to the center and give you access to the key box.

Yes, it is possible to modify or cancel reservations. The conditions and possible associated charges depend on how far in advance the request is made and, in the case of modifications, on the availability of dates and other models.

Questions about rental

No, the rental is for a maximum of 5 consecutive days.

The minimum age is 23, and you must have held your driver’s license for at least 2 years.

For drivers under 23 with a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, an additional surcharge applies (see the Special Rates page).

When you rent a van with Rodando, our rates include third-party insurance with a €1.200 excess at no additional cost, which covers damage to third parties and limits your liability for damage to the vehicle up to that amount.

If you wish to reduce the excess, you can opt for:

Insurance with a excess of €400 → +€35/day.

The insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence or reckless driving. The customer is responsible for the proper use of the vehicle.

Non-accidental breakdowns, damage or loss of transported goods, and damage resulting from improper use are also excluded.

In addition, when renting a van with Rodando, you must pay a deposit of €400, which will be refunded in full at the end of the rental period if the vehicle is undamaged. This deposit can only be paid by credit or debit card, never in cash.

Yes. When you reserve a van with Rodando, compulsory third-party liability insurance with an excess of €1,200 is included at no extra cost. If you would like extended protection against collision damage, we offer insurance with a €400 excess for €35 a day. With this insurance, Rodando covers all damage caused to the vehicle, provided that it is not the result of improper use or gross negligence while driving. In such cases, the customer will be liable.

The customer will be responsible for the total cost of damage to the vehicle when it occurs in the following circumstances:

  • Punctures caused by poor driving or driving on unpaved roads.
  • Damage to third parties due to carelessness or reckless driving (use of mobile phone or GPS, speeding, failure to use the handbrake, etc.).
  • Refueling with incorrect fuel.
  • Damage to wheels and tires (bumps, curbs, improper driving).
  • Loss or breakage of keys or remote controls.
  • Theft of the vehicle with the keys left in it.
  • Damage to the upholstery or locks (burns, cuts, attempted theft, etc.).
  • Damage to the interior of the vehicle (excessive dirt, damaged floor or paneling, etc.).
  • Making holes or removing signage without authorization.
  • Replacement, loss, or unanchoring of seats.
  • Damage or loss of accessories (antenna, jack, warning triangles, fire extinguisher, safety vest, puncture repair kit, documentation, etc.).
  • Damage to the engine due to negligence or overloading.
  • Damage to the underside of the vehicle (hitting speed bumps, curbs, unpaved terrain, etc.).
  • Collision with objects due to misjudging the height of the vehicle.
  • Damage due to misuse of the clutch.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Damage caused by animals.
  • Any other damage caused by negligence or improper use.

In the event of an accident, you must inform us within 24 hours of the incident and, in any case, before the end of the rental period.

You must also provide us with a fully completed accident report and any additional documentation within 7 days of the date of the incident.

A valid driving licence held for at least two years, a Spanish national identity card, and a credit or debit card issued by a Spanish bank in the name of the person making the booking.

No. Driving would only be permitted in Spain (the mainland).

The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. Otherwise, the cost of the fuel will be charged, plus a $20 refueling service fee and $40 for each quarter of the tank not refilled.
